Kickass, the doorstop dog, says the keeper’s birthday has apparently become such deal that it takes a week or so after the fact to organize any kind of acknowledgment of it. Either that or there is one of those “Oh, is he still around. Well, let’s have a party.”
So this Sunday there will be a gathering at the keeper’s house on the hill in Mazomanie, mostly of family but for anyone else who happens to be in the area and is curious about how one human being strives to ward off personal oak wilt. The keeper would be delighted to see any and all who do not expect anything beyond cheap treats, anytime in the afternoon.
This is short notice, but let’s not call this a “visitation,” rather a celebration of one helluva September that promises to get even better for everyone still above the grass.
